North Conway Water Precinct
Intro
The North Conway Water Precinct services the water needs for the village of North Conway as well as other parts of Conway and neighboring Bartlett, NH.
The precinct oversees the towns one of a kind, pure water sources in the United States, as well as the sewer and waste water treatment facility, and the North Conway Fire department.
The precinct is overseen by a publicly elected board of
- 3 commissioners, each elected to a 3 year term and receiving $2,500 per year,
- a treasurer, elected to a one year term and receiving $750 per year
- a clerk, elected to a one year term and receiving $750 per year
- as well as other, unpaid elected seats
The commission meets on a schedule of every other Wednesday at 10:00 AM, at the Water Precinct's offices. The commissioners are chartered through a House Resolution by the State of New Hampshire, and must govern according to the bylaws of the North Conway Water Precinct.
